Delete your account
Your account is yours to close, and closing it takes the tracks with it. Pick whichever route suits you — both end in the same place.
From inside the app
This is the fastest way, and it happens immediately.
- Open Rapper.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and its contents are erased and you are signed out.
By email
If you have lost access to the app or can no longer sign in, write to hello@boppy.me from the address on the account, with the subject Delete my Rapper account. We complete the deletion within 30 days, and normally within a few working days. We may ask one question to confirm the account is yours — never a password.
What gets deleted
- Your account, sign-in identity and profile.
- Every track you generated, along with its lyrics, cover art and audio.
- Your rhyme book, saved drafts and generation history.
- Any subscription entitlement recorded against the account.
This cannot be undone, and tracks cannot be recovered afterwards. Export anything you want to keep before you delete — open a track and use Export to save the tagged MP3 to Files.
What we keep, and why
- Payment and invoice records, where a purchase was made, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These are held by Apple or Google as the seller; we keep only the transaction record.
- Security and abuse logs, stripped of anything identifying you, for up to 90 days.
Nothing in either category can be used to reconstruct your library or sign you back in.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription — billing is handled by Apple and Google, not by us. Cancel it in App Store → your name → Subscriptions or in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions, then delete the account.
